The wide receiver's dismal day made for an even more forgettable first season with the Vikings.

Simpson hasn't had a good game here yet.

Simpson and Carlson....nice off season acquistions Mr. Spielman. Stay focused on the draft....not free agents. Wait...you drafted Ponder. Find another job.

Hi! When are the Vikings going to get some competent receivers besides Percy? With the number one runner in the league they should be able to get all kinds of opportunities with play action passes, and any competent wide receiver would thrive in this kind of situation, but all the Vikings seem capable of doing is to consistently draft or sign guys with bricks for hands!! How many more of these guys do they have to go through before finding someone who can actually run a pattern and hold on to a ball that hits his hands? I'm afraid I will be waiting a long time!

On days like this, Simpson should return that $60,000.00 he receives for each game he is active. He was peeved about this issue earlier in the season when he was inactive for the Redskins game. You didn't earn that money today Jerome.

Hi! Forgot to add that after some early bumps in the road, the Vikes are well on their way to 10 losses! Really didn't think they would get to 6 wins, but they surprised me with the San Fran and Detroit wins. Just another example of how some meaningless wins will end up screwing them on draft position next spring.

I think it's safe to say that Bart Simpson will not be resigned for next year. His total performance for the year doesn't deserve even one of his weekly paychecks and to think he was torqued about being inactive earlier.

At least the guy publicly admitted to being pathetic. Not exactly a silver lining but I have more respect for him right now than Carlson - who is stealing even more money from the Vikes.

It's amateur hour with the Vikes. Simpson (aka Troy Williamson) & Carlson the off-season acquisitions. Ponder may play well in practice but the pocket presence & decision-making during games is pathetic. Wally the Beerman is more accurate & has a stronger arm. Coaches throw twice as many passes as rushes in the 1st half. Zygi's first move is to hire Childress & then the often passed over Frasier. Painful to watch the Vikes coming off a bye & the biggest game of the year & they come out flat.

As bad as they played (and prepared) I actually have to give kudos to Frazier at least for calling out Simpson and even Peterson to some degree. We keep wanting him to show some spine and I think his teams performances are starting to wear on even the great pacifist himself. I think its clear that Simpson or even Carlson wont be back next year. I can't recall ever seeing two free agents so inept. Simpson needs to watch "The great career of Troy Williamson" and especially how Troy's career ended because he couldn't do the ONE thing he was paid to do.
