Wolves desperately seeking Rubio

The Wolves have lost five in a row and could really use a quick return by Ricky Rubio, especially for his defense.

As arrogant as he seems on the court, at least Love seems to make some sensible and humble comments off it. He quite often raises his own hand in the blame game and he knows his defense NEEDS to improve, that is very good.

It might help if they had someone who could actually nail a jump shot once in awhile.

This is supposed to be a better defensive team than last year, but except for the first 5 or 6 games, it seems that their defense has been non-existent. The big guys are not stopping the dribble penetration. Stiemsma is supposed to be a premier shot-blocker but other than the first couple of games at the beginning of the season, he hasn't made any significant contributions (especially when both Pek and Love were out). Love should stop complaining to the refs about not getting the calls on the offensive end of the floor. He's been slow getting back on defense, which leads to easy basket for his opponent.

The last thing the Wolves need to do is rush Rubio back onto the court. He is no Adrian Peterson. I hope he doesn't play until January or later. Of course, I don't know what his doctor will say, but that's my medical opinion as a former hospital orderly.
