Michigan State's victory should give it the inside track to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. U players are happy to be going anywhere.

I'm sure the boo-birds will jump all over this article, but too bad. I am considering going to either one. There are far worse places to be during the week between Christmas and New Years' Day; like back in Minnesota (or in my case, Illinois).

Buy tickets to one of those bowl games to see this Gopher team? I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Welcome to the How Depressing Bowl.

I can't wait for the Meineke Muffler Bowl. One time I was so tired, I had a dream that I was a muffler. When I woke up, I was exhausted.

I HOPE that even tonight, the Board of Regents has called Kaler and Teague on the carpet and is asking them what they are even thinking about by discussing a bowl apearance with a team this bad. Two big ten wins. TWO !! Really?

tbdbitl7881 and stuckinchees: 2-6 in the B1G, 0-3 in trophy games, and 4 non-conference wins over the little sisters of the poor...and you're satisfied?!

I'll be one of the very first to order my tickets from the U of M for the bowl game. There is NO such thing as a bad bowl game. Now, there IS such a thing as downer dudes/dudettes who either can't afford, don't want to or NEVER EVEN CONSIDER going to a bowl game. Well THAT is their loss and it is undoubtedly the gain of the folks who DO buy tickets and DO travel to bowl games. Why? BECAUSE it is really boring being around downer dudes/dudettes in a bowl game setting! However, I WOULD be willing to invite all the downer dudes/dudettes to cone on down to the bowl game. I'll certainly be willing to listen to your grips and whines...and then I will most certainly be more than happy to contrast those gripes and whines. It would be a great exercise in debate and would certainly be an incredibly opportunity to contrast the heck out of all of you downer dudes/dudettes! Just be sure to buy your tickets from the U of M Ticket Office! ; 0 )

6-6 and you get "rewarded" with a bowl game. What has college football become? Look for the U to buy up all of the their unsold tickets and donates them to the local Cub Scouts to fill seats!

Minnesota should pass on the bowl game and stay home and use the time to learn on to tackle. Riding on the back of a runner for 12 yards waiting for HELP to arrive to bring him down. A laugher. Minnesota will never land a good group of players with KILL as the head coach. He may be the nice guy, but players come to a school with a head coach who is there daily and who in not going to pass out in the middle of a game. Players look at the coach, then the program, then school history, etc and make their minds up. Good players are NOT coming to a school with an uncertain head coach. Fire him, get a healty coach.

I think Iowa & Ilinois both had those magical 15 extra bowl practices last season--worked wonder for them, huh?? For godsake, please stay home from whatever dipsey doodle bowl would have you!

People like eye and tidbit are exactly why this team has been this bad this long.
