i love a good pay-back game. great victory Gophers. thank goodness for a big game from Trevor. only 7 assists to 17 turn overs. I hope there are lots and lots of passing drills this week before the FSU game!

This wasn't the same team Stanford saw in the NIT Final. Mo Walker and Trevor Mbakwe didn't play in that game, and just for good measure, neither did Ralph Sampson III. ....... This game definitely wasn't pretty ... in other words, it was a typical Big Ten game ... but in spite of the turnovers again, the Gophers fell behind a few times and simply would not go away. I love the way they really battled back each time Stanford looked like they might take charge of the game. The Gophers showed toughness and resiliency for 40 minutes, and they deserved to win. Stanford is a physical team, but we out-physicaled them. Great game, Gophers, we'll take the "W" every single time. .................................. And BTW, before anyone tries to come in here and say that the refs shouldn't have called that foul at the end, think again. The replays clearly showed the Stanford player making a lot of contact with Dre's arm when he took the shot. The fact that the shot was being taken from 50 feet away from the basket should not be a consideration. Don't blame the refs .... blame the guy on the other team who will have to answer to his coach and teammates for his very dumb decision.

Lets hope they play as well when their games are televised for their local fans as when they aren't!

Who exactly pays for this largesse? We need to travel to the Bahamas to play basketball? I've never been to the bahamas. Is this why my daughter has to pay 20k for one year of school at the U? What a sad state of affairs.

These were two wins over class teams and the loss to Duke was to a team that shot 80%.

Tuition pays for ZERO. Does that answer satisfy you??

Also... pretty sure most of the team's expenses were picked up by the tournament host. That's how it usually works. The tournament gets money from TV rights and Atlantis makes money from the fans who come there to see the game.
