The article forgot to mention his work in the classic film "Fail Safe" opposite Henry Fonda. He was quite good in that film and provided a terrific foil as the Russian translator to Henry Fonda's President.

Let's be honest > Read Barbara Eden's bio book. Hagman hated "I Dream of Jeannie," was a lunatic on set at times and didn't reprise his role in the reunion movie. He was an alcoholic who nearly died yrs ago from liver disease (listen up social drinkers) because he couldn't put the bottle down. His Mom was Peter Pan (Mary Martin)and had a privileged life and in road to Hollywood. Perhaps he mellowed after Jeannie. I get bored with dishonesty and re-creating history in Obit's. Let's be honest shall we?

A colossal talent. Captivating even in his final days on the latest incarnation of Dallas. He will be missed.
