I don't watch much TV now, other than a little college football or the financial news shows, but seldom missed an episode of Dallas. Now that was a TV show! [and of course JR was the best, though a guy could not see enough of Victoria Principal either].

Best tv show ever and Hagman was the man as JR Ewing.........A household name worldwide was JR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We met Hagman and the other Dallas characters on the Dinah Shore Show. He made chilli on the show and during the commercial break went into the crowd and spoon fed my mom, a huge Dallas fan, some chilli. As a young man I liked the JR character and it made me think I could become successful just because if I put my mind to it. The new show does not play to the same theme as the original that family is more important than money. Maybe they will finally fiqure that out before Bobby dies for the second and final time.
