Some guys "get it" and some never will, the jury is still out on Derrick Williams. It is such a dang shame that these guys don't realize that by genetic lotteries they got the long end of the straw and the stands are full of people who will never earn a thousandth of what they earn and they don't play hard for the fans, their team mates , or even themselves. Derrick is showing he is not willing to play hard enough to do what it takes to be a winner and have a winning club in this league. I sure wish I were given the physical gifts these guys were. I would hope to not squander the opportunity as so many of them seem to do

From a stat viewpoint, Kevin Love's first and second years in production are similar Derrick's... VERY up and down. Game to game. This is normal with 1st and 2nd year players. The difference the last TWO games has been that Adelman continues to put the wrong people in the wrong spots at the wrong times, as follows: 1. Not playing Shved in the 4th Quarter, when he is what won most of the games for us this month. 2. Not playing Shved with Kirilenko, regularly. 3. Not letting Shved run the offense which he does better than any other guard we have not named Rubio. 4. Not playing Malcolm Lee for defense against smaller point guards who make Luke and Berea look like High School players (see Damian Lilliard). 5. Sitting Derrick Williams, our number 2 pick who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds three games ago, in favor of Josh Howard, Dante Cunningham (4 points tonight), and Lou Amundson... Lou, Really?

Mbakwe is not himself yet and Rubio may not be ready for a long time.
