Until the Gophers start bringing in 4 and 5 Star recruits we will continue to have 2-6 Big Ten records every year. 2-6 = Fan Apathy. Its not that tough to figure out.

Mark D' is one of the coolest coaches in the Big Ten (after this week now the Big 20?). But today WILL belong to the Maroon and Gold on home field! This will be a good game- particularly awesome that it starts at 2:30 and that the lights will go on as dusk falls over the stadium ... but ultimately the lights will go out on the Spartans. GO GOPHERS!!!!!

Let me save you all the trouble of watching the game today. MSU will stuff any running game the Gophers think they have. MSU will minimize any passing game the Gophers try to muster. Gophers will not stop the MSU running game. When the Gophers put 8 or 9 in the box to stop the run, the MSU passing game will kick in. This is the best defense the Gophers have faced all year. With a beat up O line, limited runners and receivers, there is simply no way for the Gophers to compete. Oh and MSU needs the win for the bowl game. It might not be a blow out, but the Gophers will not even make it competitive. Not trying to be a downer, just being realistic.

Minnesota will be up for the game. Any team can win on a given Saturday. When your trying to rebuild a program, nobody respects you. Minnesota is the underdog in this game and will be more hungry. Gophers will step up and get the 7th win!

Gophers can win this game, they just need to play a great game. Now's the time to put it all together and show your home fans you want to get better and go to a good bowl game. C'mon Goldy dig deep, rub some dirt on it, and win the big game today. GO> GO> GOPHERS!! ski-u-mah baby

"It's not often that the Gophers play a Big Ten opponent that is jealous of what they already have...". There are only 2 teams that have more National Championships than the Gophers. There are 9 teams that are jealous of that.

wacojohnny: Right you are, or course, but the problem is that most of weren't alive to see the powerhouse Gophers of old back inthe 30s and 40s.

Well MS have two conference wins just like the Gophers do. So I do not believe those who think MS is better. All Mn has to do is make less mistakes than they do to win this game and I believe MN will do just that. this years team has already moved ahead of last years team. so Im saitisfied with coack Kill and his staff has done to turn this program around and has started in the right direction. And u do not need alot of 4 or 5 star players to help this program. this team is doing fine with all those 3 star players it has now.
