I'm not sure what happened to the comment(s) from earlier in the day. Anyhow, I somehow doubt if two mechanics worked on this for 2 months that it only cost $8000. Maybe the mechanics only worked on it part time, or maybe labor costs were not included.

I am sure that the MTC (AKA you and me - as the taxpayers do subsidize the MTC) will pick up the total cost of this expenditure or maybe we will see an increase in the bus fare next year only Santa knows for sure! I love the Christmas holiday - it is my favorite time of the year - so no - I am not a bah humbug - just a concerned citizen who is tired of picking up the expense of everyone's whim.
