Buying local isn't a radical idea

Keeping dollars in community doesn't mean boycotting Wal-Mart.

So, Neal, that is your name and you are a shop o holic. Great that you recognize that fact, shop locally and hopefully for that good old Made in the USA product. Next week, would you do a little report on what percent of the merchandise in all stores is made in the USA? Maybe we can expand the definition of shopping locally, as in shopping in the USA for USA made items. If you need a little help pointing you at the worst stores, I would suggest Kohls, Menards, and maybe Walmart. And then maybe the week after, we can have a big bonfire where everyone can bring their Chinese made iPhone products to throw in.... but don't expect too much of a crowd.

Businesses don't pay sales tax, customers do. Businesses just add the sales tax to what the customer owes and then submit the tax money to the state.
