This was this first truly cold shooting night for the Gophers this year. Even Banham was missing wide open looks from the perimeter (the 2-12 from behind the arc for Banham, Noga and Bailey is telling). On the plus side, the defense was solid and they turned Richmond over 23 times. On the negative side, the double teams against Riche inside worked and she was neutralized for most of the game. I was hoping that the first loss of the season wouldn't happen until at least Missouri, but Gophers just have to buckle down today and beat James Madison (who beat Green Bay yesterday). Go Gophers!
