People should become engaged in elections to get to know the candidates running for office. In this case, if voters had come to the local debate instead of being wooed by the posted signs, we would not be facing this issue. This man was unable to complete an answer to most questions presented.

Ok, so he falsely signed a document to his name. One. It's time to censure him and move on. The St. Francis school district requires strong fiscal changes to keep out of severely red budget numbers. They should focus their agenda on how to best serve the children and best serve the taxpayers.

I'm always unimpressed by people claiming to be harassed when the truth is they don't want to pay the price for their mistake/dishonesty. Being uncomfortable with the consequences of your actions doesn't not mean your being harassed. He made additional efforts to mask his original lie, which is the real problem. Grow up.

What kind of message does it send to the students when a school board member plagiarizes? This man has no business being on the school board and should have the good sense to resign.

In higher education, if a student submits a paper with the majority of the content plagiarized, they receive a failure for the class. Students are expelled from the institution if they deny the plagarism and/or a second offense. The School Board must provide firm policy that scholastic fraud will not be tolerated.

I don't know anything other than what I've read here. To me, the initial consequence of censure and public apology seems to be appropriate. Why pursue it further? It does seems like he has made some enemies and ruffled some feathers of more tenured board members. Maybe that's what the board in St Francis needs...

This type of action is not what a public official, especially one related to a school board, should be representing. He should be removed post haste.

Joe Biden, vice president of the country was a plagarizer and is twice elected to the second most powerful position in our nation and his plagarism was never an issue. This school board members ox is being gored methinks in part for other reasons. Now tell me why my opinion can't make it a censor? Or does the truth getting out about Biden offend someone?
