He's a political heavyweight with the right credentials.
I can live with Kerry, Rice is an overwhelming no.
Kerry has a lot of money, and people with money are evil according to team Obama......unless they work for him. That's where the hypocrisy stops.
A political heavyweight? Really? Based on what? He's a one percenter who has accomplished very little in his very long political career.
Another laughable appointment
Time for new blood. Throw the blanket out further. Kerry is a career politician whose time has come and gone.
What I admire most about John Kerry is how he parked his multi-million dollar yacht in Rhode Island to avoid the high Massecussetts taxes he helped increase.
Elderly white male - doesn't really make it through Obama's litmus test.
I also admire how liberal democrat John Kerry married into his enormous wealth.
Don't play to the GOP by nominating one of theirs: a one-percenter. We need new blood and it is Susan Rice that should get the nod. Don't be intimidated by McCain and Graham, let them try to filibuster and further alienate 'thinking' people.
Rice is qualified, IS 'bright enough'(despite McCain's accusations), a Rhodes Scholar, and a person who is being persecuted for saying what she knew to be true. For that matter, the Economist says the same thing. If Powell could be Secretary of State and say things that weren't true...that put us into an expensive war that we still haven't won...what crime did she commit? Truth, people...truth!
chickfila: "What I admire most about John Kerry is how he parked his multi-million dollar yacht in Rhode Island to avoid the high Massecussetts taxes he helped increase." How exactly did John Kerry, a US Senator, increase Massachusetts state taxes?
