I say lets go off the cliff, it's vastly overrated, we need to start addressing the deficit, if this is the only way it happens so be it. I would also like the nation to feel the pinch and realize what just transpired the last 4 years. The tab is due time to pay up.

Implement Nationalized Health Care like every other industrialized nation on earth, and save $1.2T. That erases the deficit. Then cut the bloated Military by 50% and start paying down the debt. But no, let's not use thought and reason. Let's keep fighting the same old debate over raising taxes and cutting social security and medicare. Is there intelligent life in Washington?

Let's just stay home and enjoy food family and friends and be thankful for what we have today. The fiscal cliff and shopping can wait for tomorrow.

One thing you forget is that the cost of healthcare is so expensive in America is because we are number 1 when it comes to Obesity. Want to cut health care costs, put America on a diet.

They started the snowball downhill and it grew exponentially due to their failed policies. Two unfunded wars and one massive tax cut for the rich is what did it. Congratulations.

It amazes me that seniors feel they should have no part in paying for the mess that they created.

This is why I voted for Romney. He would have been a "better" person to handle the U.S. finances. We better watch out and get this problem under control or other nations will stop lending us money. Pretty simple isn't it!

Somehow I don't think it was the seniors that were taking out 110% no-doc no-down alt-option adjustable liar mortgages to flip houses every few years. I could be wrong.

Simplistic view of the cost of US health care, but perhaps if everyone could afford to go to the Doctor and get annual physicals they'd get that message.
