If you'll recall Washington, Jefferson, Adam and Madison, some times political allies and sometimes political adversaries agreed with one thing: the country must never allow political parties to dominate the political landscape. They felt it would be divisive and would be the end of civil discourse and unit. And they were right. History has shown that all great nations fall, and America is in stark decline. I give it 100 - 150 years tops. Fortunately for me, I've only got about 30 years left.

Once again we have to hear about the media driven divide. Can we truly be that divided when only a little more than half the people vote? The bottom line is that most people's lives don't revolve around politics. I still haven't met a single person who ended a friendship based on the other person's political beliefs or how they voted.
