How much will this bonndoggle of a study cost?
Study the ethics of using spy drones? What ethics are there? You're not going to make a Constitutional argument in favor of them.
I'm sure glad we decided to study the ethics of using them AFTER we started using them in Afghanistan.
Ya'll might want to read the details of the article before commenting, otherwise you might create a "bonndoggle". I think it is an excellent idea to explore the use of drone aircraft HERE IN THE USA, in order to help shape ethical guidelines of how they will be used. It wouldn't be much different than using manned aircraft, but there may be some small differences to consider. I don't think they will be firing any missiles, at least I hope not.
What could possibly be unethical about remotely launching missiles that oftentimes kill civilians, as well as alleged badguys. After all, isn't alleged bad-doing a capital offense?
