Nope, not buying it. When you play a Bible College (which is probably not even sanctioned byt the NCAA) and you score 170 you might as well have played a junior high school. Those guys in Ankey, IA are horrible and obviously can't play a lick of defense. No big deal for this one. Not newsworthy.

A large number of the responses show a lack of first hand knowledge of Grinnell College basketball. I'm not much of a basketball fan, but when I lived in Grinnell and saw the scores week after week, I had to go to and see for myself. That was the most fun I ever saw on the court. And for those proclaiming him a ball hog, Grinnell College has year after year had one or two pure shooters who dominate their offense, the other players work with them as a team.

Look at those impressive assist and rebounding stats. Way to be a team player

In a related story, Notre Dame will be playing Crown College on the gridiron next fall. The Fighting Irish will attept to have their starting running back rush for 1,760 yards making him the first player to rush for 1 mile during a single game. If this guard is so good, why isn't he playing in the WIAC where he started.

This same coach and team pulled a similar stunt last season with a different player scoring 89 points in another huge blowout of a non-competitive team. I have no respect for the players on this team, the coaching staff or the school as a whole. As the saying goes "try picking on someone your own size"

Gotta tell ya, if someone would have tried this garbage against me, I'd have hard-fouled that kid onto his backside and then stared down the coach.

How embarrassing! This is just like the Gophers scheduling a game against Dunwoody College's basketball team (if they had one), and having Mbakwe just stand under their basket, catch a pass and dunk on them every 20 seconds. What's the point? And How can you be proud of running up the score against a Bible Community College?

Congratulations to Jack Taylor for being the worlds' biggest ball hog, most selfish player and world's worst teammate all in 1 game. And also, congrats to the coach for being worlds' biggest bully by keeping his star player in the game to beat a Christian bible community college by over 70 points. Keep it Classy, something called Grinnell!!!!

Did the opposing coach ever think of double-teaming him? Looks like they just stepped back and let him fire away. Did he ever pass the ball? Crazy.
