The embarrassing UNC fiasco is now complete with the news that the Gophers paid $800,000 to "avenge" an old loss to 1-9 New Mexico State. Gopher fans should boycott this abysmal game, and it would be fitting for NMSU to pull off an "upset", if beating Minnesota could ever be called that.

Season ticket holders-I bet you are excited to pay hard earned cash to watch New Mexico State play. It still bothers the heck out of me that they pay 800,000 to get out of what would be a good non-conf game. Please U, don't ever call me again and ask for a donation-you must have enough $ if you can pay that to get out of a game.

"The Gophers will be trying to avenge a loss when they travel to Aggie Memorial Stadium next September; New Mexico State defeated Minnesota 28-21 in TCF Bank Stadium last September in the teams' first meeting ever." ---- We must have our vengeance!! Oh wait. This will be two different bunches of guys and its only sub-D1-level football. Agreeing with "tessss": those snailmail alumni cards make for excellent small bonfire starters in the backyard.
