Sales increased 8 percent and prices rose 9.4 percent last month, but gains weren't felt evenly.

"We need more homes for buyers to consider," said Jim Cormier, president of the association. Easy problem to fix, if banks just listed all their REO's there would be tons of houses. But, then prices would fall and banks would take a loss.
