It's really natural to hesitate about or avoid making a true apology. Our society has mistakenly given us the idea that this means we are somehow "bad" or "less than" if we have to apologize. This is an area that my couple clients sometimes need some help around. It makes such a difference!

It took practice, but once I learned to admit errors and make unconditional apologies, day to day relationships with family, friends and co-workers became much easier and less stressful. I'm not as scared of making mistakes, and I don't have to try to avoid people that I might feel awkward around if I hadn't resolved hard feelings with them beforehand. I also feel better about myself!
