Given the way they played last night, I wouldn't want to play behind that offensive line, either.

What we learned last night, was the real #7 out of the 2011 Draft wears a red jersey, not a purple one. Our #7 was twice as expensive too. Oh Snap.

Can you say, "Smoke Screen" Cutler will play this weekend. I hope Leslie disregards this immediately. Too much on the line in this game for him not to play. I do like our chances against the bears with our running game. D line needs to show up big time no matter who starts at QB

It could be a smokescreen, but this is short week for the Bears already, add in the holiday, and they don't have a lot of room to play around on this. And it's not like Cutler has been out taking all the snaps in practice - he didn't even go to SF with the team. Cutler's had a number of concussions before, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is somewhat serious. NO matter, we tend to suck in Chicago so this could be a golden opportunity with the short week and a pathetic performance last night.

With any luck at all the Vikes will still be in the playoff hunt by week 16 when they play at Houston. And, Houston may be very beatable at that point because they will have likely locked up the #1 seed in the AFC - and resting their starters a bit, or have no motivation, etc.. The only real competitor houston has for that #1 seed is NE - whom they will play (in houston) about week 14. If they beat them (and the other lame teams they play remaining on their schedule) the vikes may steal one in Houton.

What's all this talk of our opponent having a short week, and that being to our advantage (remember TB game, although granted this time we'll have all of one more day than our opponent)? If Musgrave can't scheme a plan that allows Ponder to exploit Chicago's D they way SF did, then our running game won't help us (it will be shut down), and CHI even with Campbell will have their way with us if we're out-coached.

Doesn't really matter the Vikes D always makes the other teams back ups look like Unitas! Campbell will throw for 300 yards two scores and probably run for one or two more while Musgrave is trying to get Ponder to complete a 3 yard out to Kyle Rudolph on third and nine! JMO.

I think our defense can handle the Bears' mediocre offense, but I have no idea how Ponder will react to the Bears' defense, on the road no less. This game will be a true test for Ponder. He needs to prove he is the Vikings' future at QB.

Vikele-we have one more week not one day but you are right we need a solid scheme. Don't forget Forte in the defensive scheme. I think this is smokescreen though the entire transcript says he is meeting with doctors on Wednesday and Thursday. Headline for the game should be who can scheme a worse offensive plan Musgrave or Tice; Tice gets slammed all the time on the radio especially since he is a former line guy and their line SUCKS. Go Vikes.

We just might be able to steal a victory in Chicago if Cutler doesn't play, that would be huge for us when it comes to the playoff picture. If we're able to beat the Bears with Cutler in Minnesota, our chances we'll look extremely good for a playoff spot. Now if we can beat the Rams in St Louis and beat the Packers at home, we're in folks!!!
