This has got to stop soon. The Gophers already suck bad enough. Could there be anything worse than finishing 14th in the Big TEN?

Just as I'm sure no one out East gives a rip about playing Midwest teams, I could not care less about Maryland or Rutgers. As a fan, I just lost a significant amount of interest in the Big Ten. I'll still cheer for my team, but the conference's meaning's lost.

When Ed Bloustein became president of Rutgers in 1971 one of his first acts was to fire football coach Jack Bateman. He wanted to move Rutgers into the big time. (At least he didn't try to do that when he was president of Bennington.) So, now, it looks like his dream has come to pass. Took a while. Rutgers fielded such greats as Paul Robeson and some who may have been less great but well known such as Ozzie Nelson. Who knew? Maybe they'll stop asking me for money now.

It is probably time to admit that the Gophers belong in the Big East.

It's time to admit that the U of M isn't a college, it's a franchise of the Big Ten Network. Next time the U needs money I suggest they leave tax payers alone and go ask the BTN.

Time for Gopher Football to drop out of the Big 10.

If Rutgers can become a big-time football program shouldn't Minnesota and Indiana be able to do the same?
