The way SF is beating up on the Bears tonight, Chicago will be monsters again next Sunday.

Outdoors on natural grass in the natural sunlight of Chicago the viklings do not stand a chance. One lucky win in the last 12 years in Chicago. It will be too cold for an indoor team.

The glass is half full on the Vikings dinner table. First, thank you 49er's for the blue print on how to kick the snot outta the little cubby bears. We have a better running back than frank gore and now if mr. Ponder studies the game tonight, he can find the gaps and exploit the over rated bears defense. I saw this coming 9'ers kicked the ever living daylights out of Chicago. I loved it a lot. Next, our turn to hand then 2 straight loses. Welcome back to earth.

The Bears are who we thought they were. Just don't let them off the hook by letting them win the turnover war and you bear them.

Bears looked awful. Let's compare the 49ers Backup QB who made his first start to how Ponder performs on Sunday. This should be very interesting to compare the 2. Although Ponder should have the upper hand as he has waaaaay more starts.

the only reason we have a chance to win is because cutler will likely still be out with a concussion. Ponder, without his harvin-short-dump-pass-security-blanket will be running for his life without making a second or third read. better hope the ground game and defense carry us because this team is not built to play catch-up ball.

I can only hope Ponder watched last nights game so, he can see first hand how a good QB runs an offense.

Kaepernick, in his first start, looked better than Ponder. You can take any Ponder start and it would not compare. The more I watched last nights game, the more I am coming to the realization that people who say we must give Ponder 3 years of starting before we can judge him are just making excuses.

Kaepernick was unreal in his 1st start! Alot of people knew this guy would be a stud. He looked great in preseason too. My point is-I saw Kaepernick complete "hard" passes and tight throws downfield that we have YET to see from Ponder after 20 starts! This was Colin's first start. My problem with Ponder all along, was his upside and potential was never that high. It was his intagibles that made the Vikings jump, but a QB still has to throw and play. Don't be surprised if both Dalton and Kaepernick (both taken a round later than Ponder) have better NFL careers. FACT-The 4th QB taken in the draft, like Ponder, not 1 became solid NFL starters in the past 12 years! Rex Grossman was the closest, drafted 2003.
