Gevo Inc. wins round 2 in the patent battle over a yeast enzyme used to make isobutanol. But production difficulties persist.

Hate to one of those 'ol spoil sports but you may be interested in knowing synthetic fuels just happen to use this very long moleculer chain of a compound that is STILL in the water because they simply cannot remove it. I forget what it is called but they did a story in Minnesota a while back--tri-something maybe? Just one of those 'safe' synthetics you know.
