Headline should read home sales rise because of government loans and lax standards for giving government loans. We never learn from our mistakes.

Ignorance reigns. Market is recovering, but more to go. 2005/2006 prices were inflated and false, so losses based on those numbers will stand forever. And loan standards are tougher than ever today.
