Big Ten revenue is behind Maryland's push to move

I now have really mixed emotions about this potential move. It seems like the Big Ten had such "solid" members at one time. Now there is 12 teams in a conference named Big Ten. I guess with all the changes that are occuring, we might as well let another team in. I just wonder what we will do when a team wants to leave. Maybe us Gophers, should start looking at a another conference to play in so that at least we might have a chance to win a title in football.

So, this is how the Big Ten Network will destroy the conference. Add two teams who add nothing to the conference all for the television markets. It will hurt the RPI for a number of sports, add significant travel costs for the non-revenue sports, and don't bring any real value to the conference.
