Although they were still pulling bodies from the rubble in the area where the race would have begun Bloomberg devoted his attentions to the staging of the NYC marathon. He prevented needed equipment, i.e. generators and rescue personnel from going to the damaged areas so they could be used for preparing for the marathon and announced that the crisis was over once street lighting was restored to downtown Manhattan. That's not the behavior of a cool-headed businessman but rather that of a disinterested megalomaniac. He doesn't belong in the same article as Cuomo and Christie except as a stark contrast.
