I love this woman. You know where she stands , if she promise something she will deliver . No flip flopping here !
Maybe Pelosi and her ilk need to draft a massive bill that nobody understands and ram it through without reading it.
That worked before.
These lines in the sand from both parties are more about winning and losing than what is best for the country. Everything needs to be on the table, with no sacred cows.
Please, no budget agreement. Instant tax increases on EVERYONE, except those that don't pay, and automatic spending cuts! It's a win/win situation. Dems get the increases the scream about, Obama gets skin in the game for ALL taxpayers. If we can't cut on an agreed upon deal, we will never cut. Its not a revenue problem, its a spending problem. Face it and grow up. We need some adults in the room.
Maybe this wouldn't be necessary if someone didn't add six trillion dollars to our deficit in four years.
Modest spending cuts and increase tax rate on the most fortunate among us worked to create a robust economy during the 1990s while Clinton was in office. If it worked back then, it will work now.

With the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, two wars not paid for, Medicare Part D where the GOP blocked the government from negotiating with drug companies for lower prices, and the GOP-caused Great Recession; I thought you would blame President Obama.
"She tells ABC's "This Week" that she can't accept a deal that caps deductions and closes some loopholes but does not alter current tax rates for the wealthy."...This must be the type of compromising the democrats are always harping about. Apparently Nancy Pelosi also thinks she has a "mandate" just like the community organizer.
