Give me a break Hartman. First the Gophers needed a new stadium to win, now they need new facilities to win. Take the $800,000.00 dollars they gave to North Carolina and use that to improve the facilities.

the funny thing about the seat license is that revenue will contribute to and is part of the 444M that the vikes said they would contribute to the stadium...funny, they still are sticking it to the fans and making it sound that their contribution will be straight out of pocket,,,I don;t think so...GO PACK GO

And, of course, there are annual seat licenses at TCF Bank Stadium. As Sid has said, this is simply 'grandstanding' by a less-than astute (read the agreement) politician. You may have noticed he never played a significant executive role in the family business. Now you know why.

The best running back on the Gophers, by far, is Gray. Does the Gophers' poor record this year in the Big Ten have something to do with the fact that their starting backfield is not Shortell at QB and Gray at running back? New facilities will not make up for very bad coaching decisions. Furthermore, The temperature in Lincoln is 15 degrees warmer and there is no pro football team in Lincoln playing in an indoor stadium and we can only imagine the perequisites players recieve at Nebraska. So, warm up the twin cities by 15 degrees, get a better coach, make the Vikings leave town, tear down the Metrodome and have the boosters give players better deals and we will be able to compete with the better teams.

The University of Minnesota chartered two planes to Lincoln, Neb., for Saturday's football game with the Cornhuskers. One was for the team, the other was for the donors and boosters...................and 800K to buy out UNC? If the they can fly boosters around they don't need my money for season tickets.

I thought good players and coaching won games? Whats with the 800K to UNC? It seems like the team has different uniforms and helmets on everyother game. Are thr boosters donating the money for them? Athletes from sports eliminated because of lack of funding have to be shaking their heads.

Reading this today, it sounds as though Sid is already being an apologistfor the Vikings and your buddy Ziggy. Save the excuses. Let them play. Why say the next 6 games will show the Vikings mettle and just how good they really are? Vikings go no worse than 4-2 IMHO. No apologies here! And no carrying the water for them if they don't either!

Get real Sid, Green Bay is always beatable. Last year we should have beat them the first game we played them, no matter how good the Packers are they always have a hard time beating the Vikings.

Sid and the Bears are beatable. Their defense is what is keeping them alive. Cutler even when healthy is eratic. he has his weaknesses. And the Rams other than the Houston Texans really are going to be harder to beat than the Packers and Bears. Stephan Jackson always seems to run through the Vikings. Have you watched Rodgers lately he is no superman any more without all of his recievers. I really feel the Vikings can win 2 more games but would rather not so the Vikings will have better draft picks. The Vikings need receivers so bad Sid. Everyone blames Ponder for the poor passing attack. Fact is our receivers other than Harvin are Big and slow and about anyone could cover them. The whole offense from the line to the running game to the Qb would improve dramatically. No more stacking the line open up even more the running game and Ponder could pass more downfield if only he had 2 more dependable wide receivers. Sid you need to use your major influence on making that happen. Talk to your very very close friend Ziggy and MAKE him pick up someone fast and tall and great hands.

Anyone watch alot of the Packers games. Who out there is so sick and tired of Rodgers always saying the same number in his snap count. 3 - 318. He says that about every other play sometimes every play. Man he started that all last year and it is sickening. It is like he knows nothing else to say. I can't stand to listen to him. But it is fun this year watching him make alot of bonehead moves. The Packers are so beatable this year.
