It is so fun this year watching Green Bay not being talked about at all this year. Mr. Rodgers isn't so great when he doesn't have all his recievers and they still don't have a defense.

Frazier is doing a great job on defense. Harrison Smith is a great hitter and Robinson is fast and able to keep up with deep receivers. Cook is always injured since we got him. Frazier is a good defensive coach and it would be great if he builds the team into a 46 type defense. Kevin Williams maybe has a couple good years left. Next year I wanted the Vikings to draft a super star wide receiver. But usually it takes receivers out of college a year to learn the speed and chemistry between Qb and them. So this years draft I think they should draft a dominating pass rushing linebacker and another quality dback. And address the desperate need for a star veteran wide receiver in free agency. If they pick up 2 quality wide receivers, you would see a tremendous improvement in Ponder. At this point they don't get any great receivers and draft a Qb they won't have improved anything. No Qb would be great with our pathetic receivers. Did Jenkins even play last week? I never heard his name even mentioned. If the Vikings finish like 8-8 or better they will not get a star wide reciever from the draft so spend the picks on quality defensive players and get the receivers in free agency.

It is so true that defenses win championships. You can get by with a average offense if you have a dominating defense. The 85 bears and the Steel Curtain Steelers were the most dominating defenses I ever remember. The 85 Bears offense was average but had Walter Payton who was the greatest running back ever. Barry Sanders was the 2nd best back ever. The Bears McMahon qb was at best average no arm strength. The Steel Curtain team was the most overall best team ever. The offense was just as great as the defense. With Bradshaw, and receivers such as John Stallworth and Lynn Swann they were unstoppable. And Franco Harris running. The best offense of all time in my opinion was Air Corryel. Dan Fouts, to John Jefferson, Wes Chandler , their superstar tight end in Kellen Winslow, and Chuck Muncie at running back.

That's just great, Green Bay beat the Lions at home. Geez I was so hoping the Lions could do something right and beat the Packers at home!!!!!
