Wow, what a beatdown. I've never seen the Gophers women dominate an opponent as completely as they did Ohio in the first half. At the 8 minute mark I would have bet money that they were going to drop 100+ on this team and hold them to 35 or fewer (there was a two minute stretch in there where it seemed like they were only playing on one half of the court). I think they were a little bit ragged in the second half comparatively, but it's probably hard to remain focused when you're up 44 points at the half. I tried to stay for the entire UNLV/Maine contest but it was unwatchable following the fireworks display from the first game and I left at the half. It is still hard to say how good this Gophers team is this year but 20+ wins seems doable with this group. We'll probably have a pretty good idea of how good this team is after the first week of December. At that point they will have played a representative from each of the other BCS conferences (Washington State, Villanova, Missouri, Virginia and Kansas) as well as a solid A-10 (Richmond) and a Colonial Conference team (James Madison). All in all, a pretty good slate. Maine tomorrow should be the last true cupcake before the last five games of the non-conference. Hopefully we'll see the same team tomorrow that we saw today. Go Gophers!

Really? You are up 40+ points and you are proud to say that you said nothing positive at halftime? Coaches are a different breed!
