Reservoir releases an attempt to raise Mississippi for barge traffic

The drawdown from Pokegama Lake, Lake Winnibigoshish, Leech Lake, Big Sandy Lake and Gull Lake will continue for three weeks. Mississippi River reservoir releases aren't likely to help much.

That's fine and dandy, but then who's going to help us with our own drought? We're still several inches below normal for rainfall here, and no prospects for rain or snow any time in the near future.

We need to understand that there is no climate change and that our unique american way of life of sprewing CO2 into the atmosphere has no way of affecting our lives. If there is a problem, it's the HAARP array in Alaska that's controlled by Obama.
