For those of you wishing to make light of this, please consider the fallout and economic impact. These closings will inconvenience tens of people causing the choo choos to lose tens of dollars of income. Several hundred choo choo employess will be forced to take time off with pay during their assigned "work' periods. oh, wait, there really is NO impact, is there.

@birdpeep you are right, there is no impact because they had shuttle buses running between the closed stops. I just got off a train packed full of people, so when you say "tens", you might want to correct that to "thousands"

The thumbs-downs don't surprise me. I was already aware that people in this metro area (mostly suburbs) are scared to leave their cars. Don't worry. While you are busy spending your time stuck in traffic on your commute I'll be busy having fun and living my life after getting home swiftly from work on the light rail.

Not a good time during high peak Holiday travel for folks to/from airport. Also for those shoppers.
