Another year of Underachiving folks. Anyone else getting tired of the excuses as to why this team cannot seem to beat the teams they should be destroying. Wisco had no business being in this game. For the most part they don't have much talent, but once again Lucia can't get his group of Primodonna's over the hump. If only we could talk Eaves into coming over to this side of the border. It's gonna be another huge let down come March-April folks with this pathetic coaching staff.

First things first. Can we find a replacement for The Wooger please? God bless him but it's time to move on. It was so easy for Fox to get rid of Frank and Wally but they keep Dougie? It makes no sense. And i for one am really tired of always having to hear all the same Glenn Sonmor and John Mariucci stories.Yuk! As for the game. OVER...RATED! OVER....RATED. How in the world does Lucia keep his job? He gets the best talent year after year. And year after year he sqanders it away. Bucky comes to town with little or no talent and tie us without 2 of thier best players. It's Sad people..Real sad.

Hey Bjugstad....Lucia called Haula his best player...time to wake up.

Time for "Pizza Luce" to hit the bricks. Why in the hell can't we at least be good at something around here? Like maybe HOCKEY!

Speaking of replacements, good that B Hankinsen was doing some talking. Now if they can just find a replacement for the other goof. the goofs on the ice dressed in m/g need to quit giving all this confidence to non-contenders. Not a team should come into Mariucci afraid of the m's. Deep in the burrow of Madsion, the BADgers are celebrating heartily for winning this point, while the gophs lost it. So many underachievers for the home team. Visions of three pointers are dancing in the BADgers' heads tonight!

No worries yet people, its still early for this team to hit their stride. They will be there when it counts. Remember we have a freshman goalie, if patterson still had eligibility we would be undefeated. Relax, its going to come together.

Those of you calling this a mediocre team and fire Lucia this early in the year don't know a thing about hockey. Like the play of Wilcox so far.

dogma95Nov. 17, 12 6:24 AM

Lucia is the epitome of inconsistency. I think he is a good coach, not a great coach, and it shows. The gopher hockey program should be like Ohio State in football, "we don't rebuild, we reload".

dirtydogsNov. 17, 12 7:03 AM

As predicted, Lucia has all the talent in the world and would fail to sweep a mediocre Badger team at home. His players rarely get better even though he has all the talent in the world. This has been an issue for years. They played worse last night and over the past several weeks than when they played their first series of the year. Maybe Lucia should be fired and the team should only have captains practices. I bet they would do a ton better.

dirtydogsNov. 17, 12 7:08 AM goaltending is our problem...NO IT IS NOT. SCORING. Does anyone actually watch these games or just post with no knowledge. The Gophers averaged 5 goals a game at this point last year. They are only averaging just over 3 a game this year. Goaltending has been decent. Anyone blaming Wilcox is a fool. Lucia is the master of underachievement. There are reasons why NHL teams pull their kids out early under Lucia's program.
