Crate train your dog. It works. It will take a little patience and some (human) discipline.

My dog did the exact same things as a puppy. She would be outside for an hour or more, I would take her on a walk, then she would come in and poop on the dining room floor--EVERY DAY. She also tore up everything she could reach--shoes, books, magazines, paper towels, etc. I read everything I could find by Cesar Milan and followed his tips and now she is the best dog I have ever had or even known. Try it--Cesar Milan, The Dog Whisperer, he knows what he is doing.
