McCain should be careful what he asks for.
There's been a coverup alright. The maker of the film "The Innocence of Moslems" is in prison and has a price on his head as a blasphemer. Yet the Rev. Terry Jones who burned Korans in 2010 leading to American deaths and who promoted and popularized the anti-Islamic video's internet notoriety leading to the recent sieges and killings at US embassies,(and who has burned President Obama in effigy,) has yet to experience real consequences. The Republican campaign was quick to defend his provocations as free speech. The RNC even incorporated some of Rev. Jones anti-immigration attitudes into the Republican platform, but what more did they share with this incendiary extremist? The killers in Ben Ghazi wre terrorists alright. They were just waiting for the popular support provided by this provocation. (On the other hand if you believe Syria's President Assad most of his countryment are terrorists.) Treason is an American value? To what end ? Long before the investigation takes this turn you will hear Senator McCain suing to end any inquest he may have initiated.
