The only comforting fact is that these union workers are now going to join the ranks of the long-term unemployed. They could have just taken an 8% pay cut. But no. They ended up destroying their own jobs and, most unfortunately, the jobs of thousands of other people. How many job openings do you think their are for industrial bakers and ingredient mixers? Not many. These union workers just gave themselves a lower standard of living. And they deserve it!
