Literally nothing has changed there for 50 years. Same arguments, same headlines, same issues.
What would we do in America if Canada or Mexico launched 200 rockets at our cities?
whalling: What would America do if Canada or Mexico enforce a suffocating blockade against its people for years and no American can fish in its water or leave America without their permission? What would America do if Mexico and Canada violate their territory on daily basis and can go in and out without invitation to kill and maim at will? If Israel was hit by 200 rockets, Gaza was hit with 20,000 rockets and shells by Israel; and the number of deaths and injured on the Palestinian side proves it.
Nice spin mru, I wonder why there is a blockade? If the Arabs had no waepons there would be no more violence, if Israelis had no weapons there would be no more Israelis.
It's time to settle this. Just remember, the US is NOT the world's police force. Get our people out of the Middle East. All of it. Including Israel. Let them settle their own affairs!
Does this mean Egypt is not an even-broker?
Remember when Carter had the solution to this problem? Then Clinton was the one who was going to broker the peace deal. Then Obama was going to come into office and amaze them all into peace just by his personality? Nothing has changed over the last 50 years. More bloodshed, "peace talks" and blame game.
@Truckman182 - are you saying this is an American Democratic President issue/problem? If it's been a problem for 50 years, what has Reagan, Bush and Bush II done? Apparently nothing either.
This isn't an american problem at all. God will be sorting this out.
With these rockets their just as likely to hit the Dome of the Rock as any Israeli target. If Egypt is so concerned about the Gazans, why don't they let them move to Cairo? I guess they don't care that much.
