Kevin Love is a quality person, and I think that this shows it. A major life issue like this is more important than anything in sports. I am glad to see that Kevin Love has his priorities right. A lot of NBA players are shallow egocentrics who cannot empathize with any other person. After they are retired, I hope they will finally wake up and realize what is really important in life. (Hint: not sports outcomes)

Good to know that Kevin Love is a good guy. Some gazillionaires might give money without actually getting involved. I'm sure the friendship with Kevin Love helped Dylan when he needed it most. Well done, Kevin.

Kevin ... please remain well-grounded throughout life. It is obviously difficult in the NBA ... however; it will serve you well.

Thank you for doing this story, StarTrib. It shows what a wonderful person Kevin Love is and how he is an inspiration to all. It also shows what a wonderful and great young man Dyland is -- and his family, too. I have to believe there are lots of people out there like Kevin and Dylan and his family. I sure hope - and I do believe so. Please keep printing stories like this. Reaffirms one's faith in humanity and in the belief that the great vast majority of people are really good and decent. Thanks again, And best wishes to you, Kevin, in your carerr and your life!! God bless.

Love really is a Love! I see he's active in a coat drive currently going on as well. Great to see him giving back to a community that embraces him. Get that hand healed - can't wait to see him back on the court.
