Pohlad group buys Chevy dealer in Delano

  • Article by: Twin Cities Automotive, a division of the Pohlad Companies, has acquired its second Chevrolet dealership as it continues to expand into the U.S. domestic market to compliment its dealerships in luxury vehicles and Asian brands. TCA closed on the acquisition of Star West Chevrolet earlier this week. Terms were not disclosed. The dealership will be renamed Chevrolet of Delano and its power sports division will become a stand alone dealership called Star West Motorsports. All employees will be retained, TCA said. The Delano deal marks the second non-metro Chevrolet dealership acquisition by TCA this year. It earlier acquired North Branch Chevrolet. The TCA portfolio now consists of 11 dealerships.

They certainly are not buying talent to prevent yet another last place finish. Guess we all know where they are spending their money. A special shout out to the tax payers of Hennepin County for getting fooled by the Pohlads.

Owned GM vehicles our entire lives. Always bought them new. Bought our last GM vehicle in 2011. NEVER again will we buy GM products. Not in anyway. It wasn't bad enough bailing out the unions, now the guy we built a baseball stadium for with OUR TAX MONEY has enough money to expand into car dealerships. DOUBLE the reason not to buy GM products anymore.

Joe Mauer is scheduled to work at this dealership. Unfortunately, when he works two night shifts he won't be able to work the sunday shift.

Let's all boycott the Chevrolet dealership in Delano to protest the Pohlad family's plundering of the wallets of Hennepin County taxpayers to pay for Target Field. They already have too much of our money!

How about these Pohlad people stop buying car dealerships and start buying some starting pitching so the Twins can at least not be a last place team. Jim Pohlad or Ron Gardenhire should rank high in the Turkey of the year contest.

And the billionaire wins again. Taxpayers are so stupid. Got his stadium with taxpayer money. His team is worth 250 million more now because of it. And now he pays cash for car dealerships. Hope all you baseball fans like higher taxes.

Good thing we bought these impoverished Pohlads their very own baseball stadium a couple years back. The family does lots of DNC fundraising activities in MN and it looks like their party loyalty has been generously rewarded with a piece of Government Motors.

Pohlads own businesses, Wilf owns businesses, has nothing to do about a team winning, but everything about them winning.
