That was a hard game to watch. Yet despite three quarters of sloppy play by exhausted players, the Wolves tied the game in the final minute. This is a team that simply refuses to quit. Scary to think how good they could be if everyone was healthy.

D. Williams, a good example of why college players need to stay in college and learn how to actually play the game correctly.

No excuses. The Wolves had many different ways they could have won in the first three-and-a-half quarters, let alone the opportunities they blew in the last half-quarter. You can't wait until the last five minutes to start playing basketball.

I feel really sorry for anyone at that game that had to sit through 3+ quarters of awful basketball. Last 5 minutes was fun, but the rest of the game was really bad. Even with all that Wolves could have won that game by making their free throws. They missed 17 of 37 free throws. Ouch!

I agree with the other comments... a 14 pt second quarter followed by a 15 pt third quarter... horrible NBA basketball when you have quarters back to back like that. So many chances where lost in this game. 17 missed free throws ... what can you say about that poor stat?? That fact alone severely hurt the team. Shved had a nice game but that turnover at the end of the game, at the most critical time in the game, killed the team. A weak pass that resulted in a turnover and 2 pts for the Bobcats. I realize the team tonight was basically 2nd and 3rd team players... but the early play was an awful reminder of the kind of basketball we've seen around here for 6-7 years. The lineup tonight would win about 13 games in the regular season. Remember... the Bobcats won 7 games last year. Worst team in the league, by a long shot.

Even my 90 year old can make better free throws than these so call pro's. This team is terrible to watch right now. It's OK to play bad once in a while but it's no excuse for not making easy free throws.

Jim Peterson is THE most wonderful encompassing commentator to ever grace the MN basketball arena & Coach Rick A. is the Wisest, Most rock solid leader that the Timberwolves have seen & I am SO proud of especially these two ppl . This team is going places fast & I would Like to imput ( I think most urgent need ) to get one of those relatively exciting free agents while we can while being SO devastated with injuries. I am sorry for not wording comment on "In Coach We trust" differently. Please TARGET center be Excited & Passionate about Wolves --- ALWAYS :)!

This team will win games ugly frequently. Hats off to Adelman for assembling a squad that wins without superstars. That sad part is that it will take a while to integrate Love and Rubio into the mix and produce a team familiar with all its parts. Hope it happens in time to win enough games to make the playoffs!

Derrick Williams is a bust, but at least the Wolves played with heart. Thankfully Joe Mauer isn't on the team.

D. Williams---one assist per game in college, when the offense ran through him. Does that tell you anything? Can't make a layup in traffic and won't pass the ball to anyone else when there is no clear path to basket. Why not trade him for a team player?
