Dickey, Viola, Santana. We should probably quit giving the Mets such good pitchers.

another wonderful assessment of talent by twins brass. do knuckleballers pitch to contact? probably why we got rid of him.

The only coach we kept was the pitching coach, however pitching is the major problem with the team. We do not seem to have the ability to develop a pitching staff, Kyle Lohse, Dickey and Matt Garza display a trend of former Twins pitchers that have excelled under another coaching staff. Frustrating to read these stories, knowing we have no pitching.

R.A. Dickey. The Twins would not have had him. It's really a shame that people don't investigate a player's history before they go all Lohse on us. Dickey was the first man cut, the first man cut, in Mets' spring training, 2010. They didn't know what they had, and Dickey wasn't even then the pitcher that he is now. Now go look up Lohse, boys, and figure out for yourselves why he wasn't "the one who got away" either.

Very happy for R.A. and his family. A magical season and a great story. That last trip to the minors was not easy, but he persevered and his wife was so supportive. Very happy for all of them.

Another in a long list of players who are successful AFTER leaving the Twins camp. Congrats to Dickey. I liked him. Why does Rick Anderson still have a job here???

Aren't the Twins great. They prevent heartbreak by getting rid of players that will earn their keep some day. Glad they paid Joe the big money. He's proven they can win with one or two big money players----NOT

I am so happy for the Twins!! Oh, I am sorry, I mean the Mets. I am glad the our pitching coach saw potential in Dickey and let him go. And just think, we still have our pitching coach.
