GOOD for HUNTER he is with a classy organization.THIS is why DETROIT wins and the TWINS dont.THE problem is nobody wants to play for the twins if they did they would of signed people by now.I wouldnt play for the twins either.

Heck, the Tigers wasted nearly $7 million on Delmon, who's a defensive hack, who turned in a career-worst OPS+ on a great-hitting team at an age when he should be flourishing, and who is an off-field p.r. disaster. They replace Delmon with a better DH in Victor Martinez, at no additional hit to the payroll because Martinez's salary is already en force, and they get Hunter, who as was predicted when he left the Twins, has aged well.

This most assuredly guarantees them a World Series title. The Twins simplay have to do something to keep the pace, like Sign Josh Hamilton and Zach Greinke.

Meanwhile, back at the MN Twins front office, Terry Ryan and his crafty friends are designing a strategy that could land another veteran pitcher with a total of 10 wins in his entire career!

I keep checking the paper to see if the Twins have done anything and of course they haven't. The Tigers want to win. The Twins just want to maintain and "plan" for a next year that never comes.

This news is as bad as R.A. Dickey winning the NL Cy Young.

Ridiculous contract. There are fielders around as good as Hunter is now, who can be had for major league minimum. He's a chronic whiffmeister. Considering all his plate appearances every year, he rarely crosses the plate. Not a bad player, just outrageously overrated.

Meanwhile, Terry Ryan is looking through dumpsters and scrap heaps to fix his starting pitching lol. He is gutless, clueless and without a creative bone in his body
