Minnesotans can't tell the difference between Ziggy Wilf and Betty Crocker- is what it has always amounted to.

coreyallen- It's not the peoples' stadium. But it is the people's bus stop outside the stadium. People can leave the stadium for $1.75 or so. That's what the people can do.

An empty stadium will get Wilfs attention.

Really? You are going to rip on Ziggy? Look at the stealing the Pohlads have done with the Twins. At least the Vikings try to be competitive, and spare no expense in their quest. The Twins fleeced MN for their "field." That needs to be headlined in the Stribs columns. Go Vikings and congratulations Detroit on signing Hunter...The Twins didn't need him...oh wait.

Where were all you public trough pigs when the rest of us didn't want to pay for a stadium we will never use? Now that the ones who actually use it are being gouged you get upset? I hope piggy nails you for every cent you've got. To the guy who says I can't afford the extra tax -- some other idiot with more money will be able to use the tickets.

Of COURSE Wilf is greedy, he's a billionaire! They're the most greedy people in the world! The fact that Wilf wants to pay his share of his playground by effectively taxing his fans is disgusting, but comes as no surprise to anyone who was paying attention during this whole debate.

Not sure if this was added earlier, but U MN did this with hockey. There was a 30 year waiting list for season tickets. Now you can buy them with no wait. I will be dropping mine next year.

mcgh01...don't mean to be "defensive" don't have to! (no pun intended) "Fran the man" was fun to watch, a "factor in the NFL's success", but when he was "needed", he ran around on the field more more than "Tommy Kramer" did on the 494 Strip! No PSL's for me! As to my being "worthy"! You are a "poor judge"! I will add this: God forgive them, they know not what they do!

@davholb No offense (and no pun intended), but you're not even PSL worthy...you completely forgot to mention Fran Tarkenton in your nostalgic musing. Not only not Vikings Loyalty, an insult to Vikings Royalty!
