If the American media had spent half as much energy covering the events of Benghazi -- which occurred before the election -- as it has covering the malfeasance of the Obama Administration, CIA and Department of Defense after it, we might have been looking at a President-elect Romney. And the drive-bys couldn't let THAT happen, could they?

Obama is cleaning house. None of these generals backed him and he knew. Then you add in the Benghazi coverup...this has the Obama Chicago politics written all over it.

Maybe the media should put the same effort into F&F investigation.

Maybe people should let the media to its job, no matter how unpalatable the people find the outcome.

re - BallFour: "Maybe people should let the media to its job, no matter how unpalatable the people find the outcome". - - The problem with your suggestion is that it's NOT how the Media works today. As seen over and over during the past 4 or 5 years, whenever a newsworthy situation arises, the "outcome" is dictated to the Media, THEN they prepare their stories to arrive at the predetermined outcome.

I would have to admit the timing of all of this does not look good for the administration. All of this coming out after the election, too late now.

Why are we so fixated on and looking at this so closely anyway? So a guy cheated on his wife...this is news these days? Really? He was military and director of the CIA so THAT should put him as a guy who would never do something like that? I mean come on. I don't care who is doing what with whom, provided they are doing their job. The only reason though that the GOP ones that get caught in it get a bit more flack from me at all is that they are the ones running on "family values"...other than that could care less.

What "job" does the media have exactly?? Are you referring to the locals "news" crews?? The national "journalists" who are all in a gutless race for readers and ratings? An affair is a juicy story that the smarmy media loves. I have read more about this than the Benghazi cover up or FandF How much have you read from the media that Obama's administration did not set foot in an office of any high ranking senator in four years? He rarely has any interaction with Congressional members. Expecting four more years of incredible progress? More bi-partisan work? Of course you are, the media is on the job finding out what's really going on! What a joke.

"20,000 to 30,000 " pages of emails in two years! That is about 40 a day. Who was running the war?
