A sloppy second half vs. Toledo left the Gophers a little bit flustered following a dominating beginning.

I wish the gophers would play tougher teams in the pre-season to help them prepare for the big 10 schedule!!!! They win by 25 in the pre-season, but when the big 10 schedule starts they get killed!!! C'mon Tubby!!! Let's get some tough opponents early so we can be better prepared for the conference schedule!!! Stop playing pansies so you can pad your "win" total!!!

DavidTengbom, something tells me you haven't looked at the Gophers' non-conference schedule this year...

Another win, but holy smokers 19, 19 turnovers? We need to take care of the ball, Joe Coleman, did you just give the ball to the other team? Wha' happened? On a positive note, it was a Good win, next time let's take care of the ball better. Can't wait until the Duke game. I hope we just bring it and show the ACC we got some too this yr.

aabracadebra - "Anyone else following Colton Iverson at Colorado State?".. Yup - top scorer for Colorado State.. 18 points (.625 from the field and 75% FT) and 8 rebounds in his first game after 17-18 months... He is doing well scoring, rebounding, and controlling the paint -- kind of like he did in the Big Ten tourney and in the big games where he played over 6 minutes.

Oh yes, slamman: "Be still my heart..." First the powerful American University and now the all-powerful Toledo. How do deal with such success?

"He is doing well scoring, rebounding, and controlling the paint -- kind of like he did in the Big Ten tourney and in the big games where he played over 6 minutes."----Yeah, he sure dominated against Montana. They only have two players on their roster taller than 6-7, and neither of them start.

So the starters did well, and the wheels came off when... ??? When they changed out the guards, put in other forwards, took out the center, changed to zone or man to man, tried some different looks, slowed down? What was the change? I am guessing that in a preseason game, they didn't play the starters and the wheels came off with the starters in it was when they changed... High turnovers usually means the game speed is forced up and bench players are trying to catch up or the incoming player(s) are trying to slow down the game to their comfort level, disrupting the flow... Any hints?
