With Percy Harvin out, Christian Ponder better utilized all his receivers in dissecting the Lions.

Ponder has to take shots downfield during the games. Yes, he had thrown 8 INTs this season, but he has also completed more than 65% of his passes. Now, with more speed in the lineup (Wright), the Vikes should run more post routes or fly routes and Ponder need to take those shots, provided the line will give him the time to make the throws. Stretch the field and those intermediate and short routes over the middle will be available for Rudolph or Harvin on crossing routes.

Eli Manning has had 3 straight poor performances. The Giants need to bench him. It's clear that he will never amount to anything. Those 3 games are definitive proof of that.

Despondent?? I never saw Ponder show any signs of depression. He had bad games and is always the biggest critic of his play...but he IS NOT like Jay Cutler who's picture is in the dictionary under "Despondent". Ponder can shake it off easily.

when harvin comes back, wright also needs to be on the field!they need all the talent they can get on the field.the biggest waste of talent standinng on the sidelines, which would happen with no other teams,is joe webb needs to be out there at wide reciever!!this guy is a total waste of talent standing on the side lines holding a clip board??that because you have fools running this team!until wilf hires a real g.m. and gets a real nfl. coach nothing will ever change!!!!!

Ponder needs more experience and pressure situations when the games are on the line to make plays. Against the JAGS he was superb. He needs more time to develop. These next 6 games will tell the tale of the tape. If this team wins 3 of these at least, the playoffs are a possibilty. Obviously NONE of these games are gimmees, but Chicago can take a big hit if SF beats them Sunday. Houston/GB could be wins if those teams are in and cannot move up in the seedings and rest players. Who knows?

So it's safe to say, the problem wasn't our WR's! Especially with Harvin out too. Ponder did a great job on Sunday. Will Ponder play well after the Bye week or will it be like Chicago years ago with Grossman. Every week, everyone wondered if they'll see "Good-Rex" or "Bad-Rex"? Funny, Grossman was the 4th QB taken in his draft too.

@Joel444--What planet do you live on??? The Vikings are 6-4 with a team everyone predicted should be the WORST team in the NFC. Mike&Mike morning show mentioned Coach Frazier as mid-season coach of the year! CBS Sports call Frazier surprise coach of the year! Say what you want about our GM, but he just drafted the best overall class in probably 10 years! Sounds like you just need something to complain about. Look around the league-nobody would consider Frazier the bottom tier of coachs in the NFL. Open up your blinders and look around!
