Wow Ponder way to go to shut up the doubters, including myself.I did post before the game that Vikings would succeed by a score of 27 to 17 and that Ponder would come around this week,so that's refreshing.I wonder if Johnson would have gotten that touchdown if H. Smith hadn't lost a step there in the end zone. He(Smith) is playing great. What a ball hawk. And who said punter's can't tackle.Kluwe was very good. And Blair Walsh just keeps on breaking Minnesota records. That seem worthy of an article unto itself. Now for Chicago ,who I have no doubt the Vikings will take that one, particularly after having seen the Lions continually implode one play away from beating them(Chicago) earlier in the season.

Ponder you beat Detroit, you have a long way to go to become an NFL quarterback

Ponder, it's not your girlfriend to blame for your poor play, it's you. You're actually not very good.

I never blamed his GF for his slump. Never thought it maybe was his ankle, or anything else. I blamed it on the fact, Ponder himself has flat out STUNK for half of the year. Ponder finally came out and played an average game for an NFL quarterback, despite playing absolutely disguesting for 5 games. Am I suppose to believe this is a franchise QB now? Please.

Interesting piece of trivia...there were four punts, 2 by each team, within TWO MINUTES at the end of the second quarter. Wonder if that's ever happened before?

I liked to see Ponder as the Vikings future but come on he beat the Lions not the Patriots or Giants.

A decent game by a very ordinary QB. Ponder can be a good backup QB in this league, but he is in no way starter material. What other NFL team would start Ponder over the QB who is already starting for them?

Truly, Christian Ponder is "The Man of Steele!" ;-) Good to see you return to early-season form. Keep up the hard work - it is much appreciated.

I'll take this record anytime.Just goes to show how some people have big mouths no matter what they've said before. And who cares what Packer fans have to say.Go Vikings!

Funny thing about Ponder naysayers, some used the convenient fodder about Samantha Steele being the reason he struggled. But, Steele wasn't mentioned when Ponder the team started 5-and-2 (and they were dating at the start of the season). All of that Samantha Steele talk will quiet down now...and hopefully it will stay that way. :-)
