West Side clinic rises on St. Paul's East Side

The $11.2 million clinic for the poor and uninsured, funded in part with health care reform dollars, is set to open in May.

3M used a lot of chemicals hazardous to health. I know several people who worked there at this site of the new clinic and have come down with cancers, luekemia etc. I would suggest testing the soil/ground for any hazardous material before building or I hope that has been done.

In reply to millyntoto's query, the beaconbluff website on April 27, 2010 said this about the area: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded the Saint Paul Port Authority $1 million in clean-up grants to be used at the Beacon Bluff Business Center and other redevelopment sites throughout Saint Paul. (My note: This new development on the east side is located in Beacon Bluff.)
