So I'm waiting for the Band wagoners and I'm guessing this week the Vikes are going to the super bowl again? lol..

Not a bandwagoner (unlike the first poster lol) but they won. A Carlson sighting! A Wright sighting! No picks by Ponder! AD proving he's the best RB in the NFL! SKOL!

AP, my goodness. He's just carrying this team, sometimes literally, on his back. He deserves every ounce of respect he's earned both on and off the field in this game. Give credit where credit is due: I've bashed Ponder in the past so I will give him a pat on the back. This is how he should be playing - nothing spectacular, just game management. Defense too, played solid. All in all there are issues, but nice to see them heading in to the bye week on a win.

AP, last week you had 182 yards rushing, and this week only 171 yards. First, to what do you attribute this drop off in production, and second, can the Vikings win if this trend continues?

One thing that we are starting to take for granted, and overlooking, is what a fantastic kicker Blair Walsh is. He HAS TO BE one of the best or even THE best kicker in the NFL right now. Congratulations to him today again.

I too have bashed Ponder, probably too much. Today I watched as he had a few problems, but they were a result of an offensive lineman or two, that had a pathetic block.

There was still a baffling situation that happened twice in this game. The last time was third and goal, and the play evolved with Ponder throwing to the "check down" back which had zero chance of getting the touchdown.... Even Lynch got this one wrong in the announcing booth. The worst thing Ponder could have done was to throw a pick, but still, a roll out or waiting until the last second and taking a sack if nobody broke open, would have still resulted in three points.... but the check down?
